Which is your favourite currency past or present? If you are German do you still hanker after the Deutschmark, Frenchies are you nostalgic for the French Franc or do you like your Euro?
Currencies show a nations's idividuality, it would be unthinkable for me to see the UK without the pound and the current monarch's head on it. It would be a crime not to have all the other weird and wonderful currencies that you cash in your hard earned wages for when you go on holiday!
Whether its due patriotism, a good holiday or being in your home away from home, which is the best currency for you?

| The Euro has been banded into the European Union. Others like the pound have the option of being put in as sterling or Egyptian pound or if someone wanted to put in the Lebanese pound etc. Same with peso in South America, I would like the country/exchange rate/official name to be specified. Mexican, Argentinian etc |
