Comic book superheroes often have to battle the forces of evil. This is a common tenet of any comic superheroes' existence -- to fight against evil. But another very common comic book or movie tenet is the problems that love actually can introduce into the comic superheroes' primary mission of conquering evil. And sometimes the love interest turns out to be a superhero herself. If you know of any others that should be added, please feel free.

A comic book imed at teenage girls? Why thankyou that does seem like an interresting read. One More Day was a 4-part story arc, it was basically a follow-up to the Civil War sotry arc (A huge corssover story which involved pretty much every marvel character imaginable).

One More Day has nothing to do with Spider-Man 3 (which sucks) it was a story arc that Marvel published in 2007 that basically retconed the whole Spider-Man universe. it had Spider-man and Mary Jane do a deal with Mephisto, in order to save Aunt May they had to "reverse reality" and remove their marriage,... it's confusing I know, but basically the consequences were that suddenly, Peter and Mary Jane were no longer married... had never been married at all, they were much younger, Harry Osborn was alive again, and a bunch of other stuff had suddenly never happened. Marvel's explanation: Magic!

I think Superman & Lois lane is classic. But I agree Mary Jane Watson played by Kirsten Dunst (she is a hottie!) was great. I did not see the chemistry between her & Tobey McGuire who often is veryy cardboardish, one-dimensional. Anyways, what was the "One More day" story? I have not seen "Spider-Man 3." Should I?

| Yes, Michelle Pfeiffer was a great catwoman in "Batman Returns." I like Michael Keaton and Danny Devito, but let's all admit that this movie pailed in comparison to its prequel with Michael Keaton & Jack Nicholson as the Joker. But Michelle Pfeiffer as Catwoman...I agree Joe. Meowwww!

Well I prefer them to have love interrests, Mary Jane Watson is the perfect example since her story is so closely related to Spider-Mans... if only they hadn't done the One More Day story...

Do you like Superheroes with (eg. Superman, Spiderman) or without love interests (eg Batman)? Me personally, I like my superheroes to have love interests. But as always I want the love interest to complicate things. Make it even more difficult for the hero to be super....
